Diploma in Management is an undergraduate degree that takes one or two years and prepares students for entry-level business management positions. They include accounting, finance, statistics, marketing, human resource, entrepreneurship and among others. The aim of the course is to equip students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable them to manage organizations in the public and private spheres.
Different entrance tests are considered for admission in diploma in management programs. Other accepted tests are the 10+2 level examination conducted by the State or National board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Some of the colleges may also set their qualifying written test. Relevant work experience also plays a role in being admitted into institutes offering diploma programs. Candidates are judged on the academic performance, entrance test scores, interviews.

1. 10+2 pass in any stream from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks aggregate is the academic qualification required for the post.
2. Even the students of 10+2 standard can apply in the prescribed format in the provisional basis so long as they meet the minimum standard requirements.
