Admission to the Diploma in Mass Communication can be done through various exams which are held for entrance in different colleges. 1. A candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board in any stream. It is open to arts, humanities or science students for participation.
2. there is no rule that is fixed for minimum percentage for admission in most of the colleges. Certain colleges have prescribed 50% as a compulsory cut off pass percentage in 10+2 examinations.
3. The candidates, who are willing to enroll themselves for the 10+2 examinations, can also apply for admission on provisional basis.
4. While the skills are not mandatory, good communication, writing, reading, and analytical skills will be required.
5. Some of the applied aspects require prior knowledge of computers and other software, but otherwise, prior knowledge is not necessary.
