Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Defence Management is a Two year full time post graduate management program designed to impart management education to the defence officers to develop their new skills and capabilities in analysis and decision making. The subjects in the course curriculum are operation management, strategic management, financial management, human resource management.
The entrance tests that are accepted for MBA (Defence Management) are CAT XAT CMAT MAT ATMA and GMAT. The applicants should be graduates from a recognized university with a minimum pass percentage of fifty percent. Army/ navy/ air force sponsored candidates must have work experience while the rest can apply for limited openings for fresh graduates.

1. The candidate should have completed a graduate degree in any field with not less than 50% of the marks from a known university.
2. Hold any national level management entrance test like CAT /MAT/ GMAT/ CMAT or the state level exam with a valid score.
3. None but candidates below the age of 25 need to have 2 years’ work experience certificate.
4. He/She should be physically fit as per the defence norms and should have good vision and must qualify all other medical requirements.
5. Military sponsored candidates: Minimum 5 years of service completed as a Commissioned Officer.
6. No working experience necessary for civilian aspirants but preference will be given to those candidates who have a background in the defense.
