MBA in Technology Management is a postgraduate program that takes 2 years to complete with a major emphasis being placed on technology and information systems within organizations. In addition to the fundamental business knowledge, this specialized MBA provides students with knowledge in fields such as technology strategy, emerging technologies, IT infrastructure, software services, data analytics, cybersecurity, and more. The program normally takes 4 semesters, 24 months in all, in which students are required to undertake compulsory core courses in general management and technology, plus eight to ten elective courses in areas of their interest.
The entrance exams recognized for admission to MBA Tech Management are CAT, MAT, GMAT & CMAT. The most popular exams are CAT (Common Admission Test) conducted by the IIMs. Other accepted examinations include MAT conducted by AIMA, GMAT and CMAT conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Shortlisting is done based on the persons performance in these exams, previous academic performance and prior working experience if any. Some of these colleges also have their own tests while others do not.

1. He/She should have passed bachelor’s degree in any stream with minimum 50% marks from any University recognized by Association of Indian Universities. Science, engineering, and technology graduates will be given preference.
2. Above cut off score mentioned by the institute in GMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT or any other entrance examination qualified. Some institutes may also accept work experience in lieu of them as well.
3. Minimum 2 years of full-time work experience preferred in a technology, engineering, IT, or business role with proven analytical and management skills.
