The MBA in UM is a two-year full time post graduate management course with special emphasis on public policy, governance and infrastructure planning and management in urban environments. Areas of training offered in the curriculum include; Urban economics, urban sociology, municipal finance, urban planning and development, public infrastructure and services, Public-Private Partnership, Sustainability and resilience among others. It prepares the students to solve problems that may arise in cities and to come up with out of the box solutions by offering inter-disciplinary coursework as well as projects.
The entrance tests that are recognized for admission to MBA (Urban Management) include CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, CMAT, GMAT, and state level test like MAH-CET. Candidates must have a good academic record with a minimum of 50% marks in graduation. Experience is also not disregarded when it comes to the selection of the candidates for employment. Some colleges also have their individual selection process involving WAT, GD, and PI in addition to the valid entrance test scores.

1. A candidate needs to possess a bachelor’s degree from any field with minimum of 50% marks.
