Master of Commerce (M. Com) – (Computer Application) is a 2-years postgraduate program in commerce with specialization in computer application. This course aids in the provision of skills concerning commerce and also specific applications in the commercial world. Among others are the more technical aspects of the curriculum such as accounting, statistics, management principles, and specialized computer application subjects such as programming languages, database management systems, and data analytic tools.
Aptitude based entrance examinations that can be considered for M.Com Computer Applications admission include CAT, MAT, MAT CMAT, ATMA and XAT. Notice of the exams and their application usually commence six months before the date of the exams. Notification of CAT exam is received in July and the exam is conducted in the last week of November. MAT exam is held 4 occasions in a year and the first being in February. There are other exams like ATMA and XAT that follow this schedule through September to February.

1. Bachelor’s degree in any subject with minimum 50% of marks from a recognized university.
2. Mathematics as one of the subjects at Higher secondary and Degree level.
3. The candidates should be holding a 4-year degree in Computer Applications (BCA) or Computer Science (BCS).
4. Graduates in Bachelor of business commerce with computer as one of the subjects will also be eligible.
5. Even those candidates who are appearing for final year graduation exam can also apply but have to necessarily pass the same by September 30.
6. Age limit or any entrance test is not required for admission into the course.
1. CAT – Common Admission Test administered by the IIM’s assesses the verbal, quantitative, data sufficiency/ analysis, and logical skills.
2. CMAT – Common Management Admission Test is an entrance examination for management courses approved by AICTE.
3. NPAT- NMIMS Programs After Twelfth – It is an online test for logical and abstract reasoning and quant and verbal ability conducted by NMIMS University.
4. OPENMAT Exam: Conducted by IGNOU – It is an exam that tests general knowledge, English language, verbal ability and quantitative techniques.
5. University level examination – Organized by various central/state universities as per the requirements of M.com admissions.

5. An offer letter should be accepted by completing the admission formalities once a seat id offered by paying fees and submitting the documents.
