Masters of commerce or M.Com (Marketing) is the postgraduate program in commerce, Business Management & Marketing. Commonly, it is a two-year program that is divided into two academic years that are four semesters in total. The curriculum offers an opportunity to deepen knowledge and acquire skills in areas such as marketing management, consumer behavior, advertising, brand management, and sales management, retailing, international marketing, digital marketing, among others. The students understand current and modern ideas, gadgets, methods and strategies that can help them to have a career in marketing.
The entrance examinations accepted commonly for admission to the M.Com (Marketing) program include CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT and ATMA etc. Several institutes consider the scores of these national level exams to select the candidates for the group discussion and the personal interviews which are the final stages of the selection.
