M.Sc stands for Master of Science and is under the postgraduate level programs in Indian and global universities. M.Sc is generally opted for by those students who have completed their B.Sc in science stream with a relevant subject such as Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology. They also have a 5 years M.Sc course that some universities offer right from class 12th which has an added advantage of achieving a master degree in one year less than when done as a separate course from the bachelors degree.
Some of the entrance tests which are taken into consideration while giving admission to the Master of Science in India are as follows. Few of the entrance tests are as follows – CUCET, JAM, GATE (M.Sc in Engineering Physics/Chemistry/ Actuarial Science/ etc), IISER, BHU-PET, DUET and many university level tests like JEST, JNUEE, Pondicherry University entrance test. To appear at these M.Sc entrance tests, a candidate should posses minimum 50% marks in bachelor’s degree.
