Medical Physiology is a one-year postgraduate master’s degree program that aims at providing the student with advanced knowledge and understanding of the physiological processes and functions in the human body. This course is a 2-year course that mainly deals with the intricate details of the physiological systems and how they maintain or control different body functions. Firstly, curriculum consists of anatomy, biochemistry and physiology, and pathology and pharmacology, as well as specialty topics including cellular physiology, neurophysiology, cardiovascular physiology.
The admission eligibility that was considered for the M.Sc Medical Physiology programme in the various universities include NEET PG, GATE, CUCET, AIIMS PG and institutional examination. The minimum qualification in most colleges include basic MBBS degree or BSc degree in any medical or life sciences discipline with specific percentage standards.
