Master of Philosophy (Zoology) is a postgraduate level course which may take a maximum of two years to complete. It comprises of an extensive and postgraduate level study in the area of Zoology. The course curriculum entails higher learning in branches such as animal classification, animal physiology, animal and human ecology, genetics, biochemistry as well as microbiology, fishery science, wildlife and wild life conservation, and other off shoots of zoology.
Besides the entrance exams that are accepted for admission in M.Phil Zoology programs in India include CSIR NET, UGC NET GATE, and the exams that are conducted by various central and state universities.
