The course of PG Diploma in Cytogenetics is one-year postgraduate level course and is designed to give a strict focus on the chromosome, its formation and working. Some topics included in this course include human genetics, techniques of cytogenetics, prenatal diagnosis, chromosomal abnormalities and the use of cytogenetics in cancer diagnosis. 1. Passed in Bachelors of Science in any branch of life sciences like zology, botany, microbiology, biochemistry or biotechnology from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks.
