PG Pathway in Retail & Experience Design that is offered by NIFT is a 1-year post graduate programme that has been designed to create professionals in the field of retail and experience design. This pathway is to produce professional creatives that are capable of analyzing the behaviour of consumers in the retail space and designing proactive strategies in the retail space, and equally memorable customer experiences.
The entrance exams accepted for admission to this course include NIFT entrance examination, UCEED, CEED. Those who have passed these design or fashion entrance examination tests can apply for this pathway program to NIFT. The final two candidates are required to clear a group discussion and a personal interview before they are selected.

1. The candidate must have passed the graduation in any field with minimum 50% marks from any university Recognized by any Indian University.
2. Even those students who have not completed a final year of graduation can also apply provisionally on the basis of the documents of the final year but they have to fulfill the eligibility criteria at the time of provisional admission.
3. Standardization test score of CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT or Entrance Test Score for PG Pathway.
4. Some prior work experience of minimum 2 years in retail/ service or any consumer goods industry will be preferred.
5. Effective interpersonal communication skills as well as the ability to analyze and solve problems.
6. Love for retail sector and desire for domains such as merchandise, marketing, evaluation, supply chain.
