1. Candidate has passed MD/DNB in Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, or Pathology and hence it makes the candidate a doctor.
2. Pass in Nuclear Medicine PG Diploma course or MD Nuclear Medicine /DNB Nuclear Medicine or its equivalent qualification After completing the 3 years residency in Nuclear Medicine or after passing the MD/DNB with 2 years experience.
3. Must have been practiced in an accredited health care facility with possibility of using radionuclide and imaging equipment.
4. Ideally, the candidate should have read and reported at least 2,000 nuclear medicine investigations.
5. As a requirement for eligibility, must publish at least 2 papers as first author in indexed journals.
6. Candidates should not be more than 45 years of age as per admission policy of the course and, must be medically fit in terms of the institutes norms.
