Provider: Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy (PGDCA) is a post graduate diploma course offered in accounting and finance specializations. PGDCA generally takes from one to two years for completion. The curriculum allows the students to gain deep knowledge in financial accounting, auditing, taxation, managerial accounting. PGDCA usually can take two semesters, every semester has several subjects taught through lectures, case studies, assignments, and examinations.
These are some entrance tests that are recognized for admission to PGDCA; CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT and ATMA. These are normal tests, measuring numeracy, analytical skills from numerical data and language proficiency respectively. Graduation with account/commerce also ensure good scores for the candidates to secure their PGDCA admissions. There is usually no requirement as to prior work experience. Presently, several reputed B-schools and universities are running the PGDCA course through full time and distance learning/part time to meet the demands of the fresher and working professional.

1. The candidate should have completed the bachelor’s degree program in any field from any accredited university with not less than 50% marks.

4. Any students who have commerce background or non-commerce background like science, arts, engineering etc are eligible for this course.
