Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy (PGDCP) takes 1 to 2 years duration for completion after completion of B.Pharm. It aims to develop and enhance the clinical competencies of pharmacy graduates to enable them to manage and deliver pharmaceutical care efficiently. The academic program includes clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, clinical research, clinical toxicology, pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacovigilance besides project development and internships.
Several examinations conducted at the national and university level are considered to offer admission in PGDCP programs in different institutes. Some of them are – GPAT, NIPER JEE, DUET, BHU PET, AMU, CUCET, GUJCET, OJEE, MET, KCET, KLEU AIET etc Besides entrance exams some institutes also consider B.Pharm. marks/internship experience and interview.

1. Candidate must possess Bachelors degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized university/institute with minimum 50% marks accrued.
2. The remaining prerequisite is the registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council of India or any State Pharmacy Council.
3. possess at least one year working experience in a hospital/clinical setting post registration as a pharmacist.
4. Must have obtained valid score card in Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT).
5. The applicants who are pursuing their final B.Pharm exams can also apply under provisional basis provided they fulfill the necessary eligibility criteria for admission.
6. One can get admitted into these streams through merit list that is prepared from the percentage secured in the qualifying examination, entrance examination and personal interview.
