Post Graduate Diploma in Design and CAD is a 1-2 year post graduate course which is centred on teaching students about use of computer software in designing products, machines, infrastructure, etc. In this course, students are imparted with vital knowledge and practical experience within areas such as industrial design and architecture, animated films and garments and jewelry designing among others. The course content areas of this course comprise of; history of design, graphic design, mechanical drawing, solid modelling and animation, computer animation, multimedia, web design and project work.
To apply for PG Diploma programs in Design and CAD, the basic requirement is a bachelor’s degree or diploma in any discipline. Various institute today use the marks scored in graduation while providing admission. There are no prerequisites of any entrance exams for these programs but some of the institutes may set some qualifying written aptitude test and interview for the candidate.
