AP EDCET is an entrance test organized by JNTUK, Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE for admissions into B.Ed. course for the candidates of Andhra Pradesh state. ,imparting knowledge to the students for their successful completion of the regular courses of Bachelors of Education in the Colleges of Education in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This test is usually administered in July every year and the test is aimed at assessing the candidates’ teaching ability, knowledge of English language and general knowledge as well as reasoning skills.
The AP EDCET exam was held in the year 2024 on 26th July and the result announcement took place on 5th August. It may be noted that more than twenty thousand candidates sat for the examination while approximately twelve thousand four hundred and forty five candidates passed in the examination. The exams are in a printed form and are set as a multiple choice question paper containing 150 marks with 200 questions to be answered by the candidates in 3 hours. The entire process of admission is carried on the basis of candidates’ rank in AP EDCET and their choices and is conducted in three rounds namely, first in general, second in supplementary and spot round.

1. Go to the official website and look for the notice for the examinations and also the application procedure.
2. To do this, it is necessary to set up the login ID and password for the online application portal.
3. Using a web browser, go to the application page, and complete the online application form with relevant personal and academic information.
4. Download application form, fill it up, scan and upload photograph / signatures as applicable.
5. Further, there is an application fee to be paid using the credit/debit card or through net banking.
6. Print the final submitted application with the application number from the downloaded link.
7. To download admit card, the candidates are advised to follow the concerned website using the login details.
8. Sit for entrance test on the exam date and venue as indicated by the institution.
