The AUAT is the entrance examination test that is conducted by the Assam University for the purpose of providing admission into different undergraduate and postgraduate courses that are being offered either at the university or any other affiliated colleges. The AUAT is held every year, usually during May or June. It assesses the students’ knowledge on areas such as general English, general knowledge, and logical and numeric ability. Further, students require passing a subject test depending on the program they wish to undertake. To determine the AUAT score, there are various parameters such as the previous academic record, marks obtained in the entrance examination, sports quota, etc., which assist Assam University in shortlisting students for counseling and seat distribution.
Given the fact that the previous exam took place in June 2023, the AUAT 2024 is likely to take place in June 2024. The actual application is expected to be in March, which is three months before the examination. After analyzing the answers within a month of the examination, students securing above the AUAT 2024 cutoff marks will be required to attend the counseling session of Assam University. Such an allocation is made in consideration of students’ AUAT results, their choices, and the opening of seats. The new session in the academic calendar could start from August after the completion of all admission processes. 1. Registration - Navigate to the official AUAT website at www.auat.ac.in and then search for the link that leads to the AUAT exam registration page. To continue further one should fill the all details like name, date of birth, email address, mobile number etc. to generate the login id.
2. Application Form – Here you will be asked to log in using your credentials, and then proceed to fill the online application form. Enter the correct information about yourself, including personal and school information.
3. Uploading Images - You will be required to upload scanned images of the recent photographs and signature as per the format mentioned in the guidelines for size and pattern.
4. Application Fee Payment - Make the payment of the application fee in online mode only through credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. The fee is not fixed; depending on the category it falls under. Ensure that you do this step because it is essential for you to submit your application.
5. E-Stamping – Once the payment is done, applicant has to take the print of the completed application form.
6. Selecting Exam Cities – TOEFL/IELTS/GRE/AUAT – Log in again to your account and select 3 preferred cities for your exam center. The allocation will be based on their order of request where by ‘First come first served’ basis will be adopted.
7. Admit Card –The admit cards will be available hence once the city of examination is released. They are available for download from the site after logging in to the account. Take a hard copy of this also The use of technology is an important factor involved in this process.
8. Appear for Exam – Candidate has to sit for AUAT 2024 examination on the specified date and shift at the mentioned examination center with the admit card. Follow all rules.
