The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board for admission to undergraduate and post graduate technical and professional courses in Bihar State in government and private colleges for admission to Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture and Medical Courses. BCECE is an entrance exam conducted for the candidates based on the objective type test for the various objective like the candidates’ aptitude, mental ability, general awareness and the subject proficiency etc. The BCECE board announces the exam date for the 2023 examination in the month of November or December for the session of 2024. If we follow the previous trend, then the BCECE 2024 may be conducted in April-May.
The provisional keys of the answers are published after the test is successfully completed and students are allowed to raise objections to the BCECEB. At last it announces the result of BCECE online within 1-2 months of exams. It includes obtained scores for each section and total, rank in percentiles and whether candidate qualifies or not. Seat Allotment is provided considering candidate’s rank, preference and seat availability. Eligible candidates also undergo online counselling procedure for admission.

1. The BCECE 2024 registration window will be activated once the official website bceceboard.bihar.gov.in opens. Login to the site and complete all the fields that will be asked of you.
2. Registration – Register by using your details and then complete the BCECE application form diligently. Give their personal information, academic performances, and other requested information truthfully.
3. Upload Photograph & Signature – Scan and upload the latest photograph and signature as per specified formats and size.
4. Application Fee – Pay online through net banking or debit/credit card or generate a challan to pay offline.
5. Confirmation of Details and Declaration – Pre-view the BCECE 2024 application form and make corrections, if any, confirm a declaration, and submit the application form.
6. Application Form Printout : Print or download the completed application form with the application number for future reference.
7. BCECE Admit Card 2019: Download BCECE Admit Card using Application number & Password after its official declaration.

1. Exam pattern – number of sections, topics covered, types of questions asked, marks distribution, etc. Previous year’s question papers– important questions, difficulty level of questions, distribution of marks among various topics, areas of focus, etc.
2. Develop a good schedule and timetable – Arrange time each day to allocate adequate time for each subject and topic. At least 5-6 hours daily of regular studying must be tried. Determine the part to learn every week and ensure that the syllabus is completed ahead of time.
3. Major subjects/ideas – The subjects are many and the concepts are also enormous; hence, one must concentrate on vital subjects that have a higher value in the examination. Solve more questions, doubts on concepts, and clear fundamentals before going further.
4. Solve mock tests frequently – It is advisable to solve at least one mock test in a week to keep a check on preparedness, increase speed, improve accuracy and to be familiar with the exam pattern. Detect the soft spots and improve on them.
5. Important Points & Formulas – Prepare a note for the subject with important formulas, reactions, definitions, etc. Review this note daily and learn them by heart. You can also employ some form of pattern or memory aid that would make it easier to remember.
6. Refer to NCERT books and good refer books – Refer from good sources only. For Questions on Physics, Chemistry, Maths & Biology refer to NCERT books as the questions are framed according to NCERT curriculum.
7. Improve areas of relative weakness – Here you need to identify those topics/areas that you are weaker at and spend more time on this. Read more questions from such topics and understand the fundamental concepts.
