The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Lateral Entry (BCECE LE) is an entrance examination carried out by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) The examination is conducted for students who wish to pursue a lateral entry in the second year of a degree program in engineering Colleges and Universities in Bihar.
The BCECE LE is conducted in a single session every year and the questions are set on subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in reference to the 10+2 syllabus. To be qualified for the BCECE LE exam, a candidate must have passed the 3-year engineering diploma or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution. The counseling rounds are conducted according to the number of marks obtained in the entrance test but the BCECE LE ranks of the candidate and the number of seats in the colleges are also considered.
