CUET UG or the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate admissions is a national level examination for admission to Bachelor's Degree programs in Central Universities and other participating institutions across India. The test is managed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Organized two years before, CUET has the purpose of the existence of common examination to reduce the load of individual students' entrance to several exams at once. It is examining toppers on topics like languages, general knowledge, number crunches and analytical abilities, through descriptive questions and multiple choices.
The test will be conducted online in 22 languages, at over 2000 test centres in India and abroad. 2022 saw 14.9 thousand students to register for CUET UG which was 60% of the total number of students who appeared. The preliminary response key and the results phases were released in the month of September in 2022. In the future, CUET UG is expected to retain its pace and will continue its consolidations as the entry gate for undergraduate admissions. As preliminary reports, CUET UG 2024 is expected to be conducted in the period of April-May 2024, within several days, successively divided into many shifts. 1. Registration and Application Form (Follow a specific format. All fields must be correctly completed)
- It is expected that the CUET UG application form, 2024 will be made available by the university around January 2024 on its official website, www.cuet.samarth.ac.in.
- The candidates should register themselves first, among the others, by providing details like name, contacts, etc.
- Then login and proceed to fill and submit your online application. Make sure the deadline is met.
2. Application Fees
- The announcement on the registration fees for CUET UG 2024 will be made via the noticification. General category students paid Rs 650, and for reserved categories, it was Rs 600 in 2023.
- Plush online payment to accompany with the application form submission.
3. Uploading Documents
- Attach a recent photograph and signature to the prescribed format and upload the documents as specified. In case of the applicants who belong to any reserved category, they need to show the category certificate.
4. Exam Center Choice
- Select from the list of available exam centers whether they are near your home, workplace or college during the filling the form. We will find out in the future which center is suitable.
5. Admit Card
- You can download your admit card for that year CUET UG as soon as it’s released (usually 15 days before the date of your exam) from the website.
- Candidates who passed 10+2 or equivalent to 2022 or earlier are eligible to participate in the application process.
- It can be expected that this process would be entirely online, being accessed through CUET's official website.
- Online application fees can be made available using credit/debit cards or internet banking. The costs potential may vary for different categories.
- It is necessary to have scanned copies of supporting documents during the online application process.
- Recent updates for the dates of application issue, eligibility criteria, fee etc will be released on the site nearer to exam date.
