The FTII JET is known as the Film and Television Institute of India Joint Entrance Test and the exam is conducted every year to admit students to the various film and television related programs of FTII Pune, SRFTI Kolkata and SATTE Delhi. One of the toughest examinations to crack in India for films and media, the FTII JET assesses the general mental ability of the candidate for the creative sector alongside aptitude in topics that include film appreciation, critical thinking, English language and logical reasoning.
The students from all across the country sat for the exam and all were in contest for less than 150 total intakes. The selected candidates will take the following courses; Film Direction, Cinematography, Editing, Sound Recording & Design, Acting, Art Direction & Production Design, Screenplay Writing, and Animation, in June 2024.

1. Go to the website of FTII, look for the option that says JET exam.
2. Make use of username and password derive, complete an application, upload documents
3. Pay the application fees online
4. Get the receipt of submission once or after the form has been submitted successfully.
5. With the help of the internet, print out the form and keep it safely for further use.
6. It is issued by examination boards as a schedule before examination and download admit card.
7. Write a test on the particular date and time as directed

1. Check Eligibility Criteria
Firstly, please ascertain that you come with the right standards as set by FTII, for instance, age, education standards, etc will mostly be made available in the notification.
2. Fill Online Application Form
The next step is to navigate through the official website of FTII and look for the link that says ‘Apply online’. In the application form, ensure that you complete all the necessary details in the form before submitting them.
3. Upload Documents
Please upload scanned images of the photograph, signature, age proof, educational certificates etc. as specified.
4. Pay Application Fee
Click on application fees tab and pay the fees through debit/credit cards or through net banking etc., preserve the transaction ID.
5. Review and Submit
Always take time and go through the whole filled form before submitting it completely. There can be no alteration once the inputs have been given to the system to process and analyze.
6. Download Confirmation Page
It is recommended that you download and save the confirmation page which is produced after the completion of the form submission. This can be used in future when one needs to convince the other party of something.
7. Send Documents by Post
Likewise, produce printouts of the application form and send it through speed post/registered post along with the copies of documents uploaded to the concerned address. This is the final step of the application process to take.
