Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test, also known as HPCET, is a test that is conducted by Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board, or HPTAK, for the purpose of admission into the first year of BE/B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, B.Arch/B.Planning and BCA courses in institutions situated in the Himachal Pradesh state. The HPCET is an examination conducted for students which includes physics, chemistry, mathematics and aptitude as per the class twelfth standard. It is conducted annually in an Offline pen-paper format at different examination centers in Himachal Pradesh. This is really a stiff exam, in which more than twenty five thousand students write the exam every year to get merely about two or three thousand chances.
Currently there are no HPCET 2024 exam dates announced by the HPTAK, although the HPCET Exam is taken in the month of June every year. It is to inform the candidates that HPCET will be conducted on 11th June in the year 2024. The results of the HPCET are normally released within two weeks from the day the examinations are conducted. For the 2023 examination, the results are likely to be released by June 25. The counselling would be started in the first week of July year 2023. Dates for HPTAK 2024 will be released at the official website hptak.nic.in or by the end of December 2023 or in January 2024. The projected exam date for the year 2024 was in the second week of June, but this is only tentative.
