The organ known as the Joint Entrance Examination Council, which is made up of representatives drawn from each of the participating states, is an entrance examination meant for offering admission to students in the undergraduate engineering programmes offered by different institutions and universities in the states. JEECE as you might be aware of its full form that is Joint Entrance Examination Council of States. It is an annual state-level entrance examination that is conducted to provide admission to the degree programs of various universities.
The exam is taken for the admission to the first year undergraduate engineering and architecture planning programmes offered by various institutes present in different states. They are written on a computer-based mode in different exam centres and delivered online. JEECE total marks range from 120 – 180 marks and for its total duration, it lies between 90 – 120 minutes. Depending on the scores obtained by students, they can be admitted to the undergraduate engineering courses in the state institutions for the BTech/BE programs.
