JKCET is a state level entrance examination conducted for getting admission in various Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy/Bachelor in Agriculture Sciences/B.Sc. (Agriculture)/ B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering)/B.E (Agricultural Engineering)/ B.F.Sc. (Bachelor of Fisheries Science) courses in various affiliated colleges/institutes of Jammu and Kashmir state. JKCET is ranked amongst the most difficult entrance examinations in the region. It contains topics such as physics, chemistry and mathematics/biology for it to test candidates.
JKCET also provides admission into government and private colleges such as NIT Srinagar, Islamic University of Science and Technology, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University and so on for qualified students. According to the exam schedule, JKCET 2024 will be conducted in the Last week of April or First Week of May- 2024. The exam will be pen and paper based at different examination centers in Jammu & Kashmir. The results of JKCET 2024 will be announced in June 2024 on the official website of BOPEE, within two to three weeks after the exams are held. Those who are selected will then have to attend a counselling session for final seat allocation.

1. Click on JKCET application link available in Official website jkbopee.gov.in.
2. register and get login ID and password, complete registration form with personal and academic information.
3. Attach scanned copies of photograph and signature in the required size and format.
4. Fee can be paid online through credit/debit card/net banking /UPI .
5. Complete the application form and submit the requested documents in print.
6. For this send the print out of form and documents to the Board office before last date.
1. Age proof: Class 10 certificate/mark sheet with candidate’s date of birth indicating an age of 17 years and above as on 31.12.2024.
2. Class XII or equivalent hall ticket or marksheet indicating that candidate has passed or Appeared in 2023.
3. Scribe: Domicile/Residence certificate as proof of J&K state residence.
4. Passport photograph and signature of the candidate as per specification scanned and attached as image.
5. Category certificate if applying under reserved category.
6. Apply for the pay exam fee through online payment mode as mentioned.
