MAH GU CAT is a computer based test which is conducted for providing admission in the post graduate management courses in the Government and Government aided universities and colleges of Maharashtra state only. The MGU CAT exam is an aptitude test which is a measure of a candidates quantitative ability, logical & Abstract reasoning, language skills and general knowledge. MBA and PGDM entrance examination is organized by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), and it is located in Maharashtra.
The MGU CAT exam pattern includes one hundred objective type questions in the form of multiple choices meant to be solved in two and half hours. When guessing there is no penalty in terms of marks deductions for the wrong answers. The subjects included under the syllabus are English Language, Analytical Ability, Numerical Ability, and the General Awareness & News section. The overall performance of each candidate is determined within one month after the exam session. Candidate belonging to different categories is given seat through centralized counseling conducted by DTE Maharashtra based on their performance in the exam.

1. Go to the official site of Mumbai University which is mguniversity.edu and look for the CAT exam link.
2. Registration procedures are to click on a registration link and enter basic requirements to register.
3. It is used to log in using credentials and then fill the online application form
4. Allow the upload of scanned documents such as photos and signatures
5. Application and exam fee can be paid through bank/demand draft/cash/cheque/credit/debit cards.
6. Coming in the following day to pick the filled form and fees receipt should be downloaded and printed.
7. Make sure to retain the form and the documents for future use
