NEET MDS is the eligibility Test for admission to master of Dental Surgery in India. NBE also conducts it for admission to around 6,500 MDS seats in the Dental Colleges recognized under the Dentists Act, 1948. The NEET MDS exam structure is different and has one paper consisting of 240 multiple choice questions which are set in subjects such as general human anatomy, physiology and biochemistry, dental materials, general pathology and microbiology, general and dental pharmacology and therapeutics. The time allocated for testing is three hours.
A candidate must have a BDS degree and must be registered with the Dental Council for them to sit for the NEET MDS. Applicants are then advised for seat allocation depending on their scores and preferences. NEET MDS was held on 8th January 2023 and the results of the exams were declared on 17th January 2023 and 42,304 candidates had appeared for this exam. NEET MDS 2024 may be released in the months of July-August 2023 and, the examination in the months of January 2024. It will take approximately three weeks if the exercise is to be done before the third week of January 2024, and the results can be expected by the third week of January 2024.

2. For registration, one needs to fill a registration form available at NBE website by filling personal and academic information
3. Please upload scanned image of photo, signature and ID proof as per the guidelines mentioned.
4. You can also pay the examination fee through online mode using credit/debit card or net banking.
5. Preservation of a copy of the download confirmation page after submitting an application
6. Choose test city to be booked and get admit card once published and available with the NBE.
7. You should sit for NEET MDS exam on the date provided and at the center assigned to you as per your admit card.
