NEST stands for National Entrance Screening Test and is an online examination which is mandatory for students who would wish to join the NISER; Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS; Mumbai. NEST is aimed to be performed each year by National Institute of Science Education and Research. Its goal is to select and support gifted students with interest or abilities in sciences learning and researches.
The NEST exam checks the student’s analytical skill, aptitude fee for biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics up to 10+2 standard. It is taken in approximately 50 towns around India. The type of test is the 3-hour exam. The NEST exam date is in the next year, 2023 and it is June 24. 1. Admit card – It is necessary for the students to have their admit card which contains information in terms of roll number as well as date of birth details. This card is usually required when one wants to check the results online. It is issued at the time of conducting the entrance exam for the admission of students in the institution.
2. Photo ID proof – Besides address proof, students also require documents such as Aadhaar card or driver’s license, etc. which are considered legal proof of identity. This will help to ensure that identity is confirmed while scrutinizing results in the event that some of the details are not coherent.
3. Registration details – Sometimes it might be necessary to input the registration details used during registration such as registration numbers or application numbers in the process of checking the NEST results in 2024 online. Students should see them and easily access them.
