Rajasthan Pre Teacher Education Test (PTET) is a state level entrance test that is organized by the Government of Rajasthan to provide admission to the B.ED courses in different teacher education colleges/institutions recognized in Rajasthan. In turn, the test is used to shortlist candidates who wish to take the 2-year B.Ed course depending on their disposition towards the teaching profession. The PTET exam assess the candidates on the mental ability, teaching aptitude, general awareness, language efficiency etc, through an MCQ paper. It is typically administered in June of each year.
The result is declared within one month from the examination conductance. The notification for PTET 2024 is expected to be released in March-April 2024, for which the online application process will be conducted for admission. It may be possible to sit for the entrance examination if one was to be administered in the last week of June 2024. The outcome of this study can be expected by last week of July 2024. On the basis of PTET scores and merit list, round of counseling will be organized in several districts for the purpose of the college seat and admission in the B.Ed program offered by various universities in Rajasthan for the session 2024-2025.
