Bihar STET 2024 is known as the Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test and is conducted by Bihar School Examination Board to provide a teacher’s eligibility certificate for the appointment of teachers in the state of Bihar for teaching in state government school. The STET exam is conducted to evaluate the fitness of the candidates for the post of teachers for classes I to VIII. The exam comprises two papers: Paper I for candidates, who desire to teach classes 1 to 5, and Paper II for candidates, who want to teach classes 6 to 8.
At the Bihar STET 2024 portal, the official announcement of the recruitment examination is anticipated to be made in mid 2024 by the Bihar School Examination Board. Following the pattern of previous years’ examination schedule of STET, the STET exam 2024 is expected to be conducted in November-December 2024. After that the official advertisement is released, the candidates will be able to fill the application form through the website in July-August 2024. The mandatory documents required at the time of STET application fill up includes- passport size photograph, signature, ID proof, if applying under any reserved category, caste certificate, educational qualification documents, scanned photographs and signatures.

1. Age limit should be minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years as on 1 st January, 2024.
2. Candidate should have passed class twelfth examination or any other examination in any other university recognized by the University Grants Commission.
3. The candidate must have passed the class 12th exam or any equivalent examination with minimum 50 % marks.
4. Aspirants must posses B.Ed or equivalent qualification from NCTE recognized institute/ university.
5. For the candidates belonging to the reserved category, passing criteria for the class 12th exam is 45% marks.
6. Candidate must be an Indian citizen and should have passed his/her schooling, higher secondary and under-graduation also from Bihar state.
1. To apply for STET, candidates must visit the official website of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) and search for notification which is generally released in mid 2024.
2. Once the online application is activated, fill the required details for registration from the link available in the site.
3. Login using the generated account credentials to open the STET application form and complete personal details, contacts, academic information etc.
4. Scanned photograph and signatures to be uploaded in the defined dimension and format only.
5. Remit the application fees using credit/debit card, net banking or UPI.
6. After filling the form completely, it is submitted and the printout may be taken for further use. This feature is an indication that it sometimes updates the website with latest information.
