The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is anticipated to have the continuance as an only means for admission to central universities in India in the year of 2024. Presented in 2022 by the University Grants Commission (UGC), CUET stands for Common University Entrance Test which is a new initiative to create a fair playing field for students coming from different boards and this will help students from doing multiple entrance tests.
By April-May 2024, the CUET for the 2024-2025 academic year is expected to take place. In line with the preceding installments, it will cover the diverse range of topics such as language, general knowledge, arithmetic, analytical skills, and others by means of multiple choices. On the other side, exams that will be based on individual subject will be added, these exams are for admission into courses that are domain specific.

1. Visit the main CUET website, click on the link that says 'application/registration' to bring you to the online form. Submit registration form to provide your personal data as per required and aim to create login details.
2. Enter your personal data, university study programme, and communication information into the application form. Please check the spelling and verify all the information.
3. Provide the necessary documents in digital form as per the requirements, such as a passport photograph, identification documents, relevant academic documents.
4. Choose the CUET examination cities where you can sit exam and scroll down to fill the form of undergraduate programs/universities that you are interested in. Preview your completed form before final-submission.
5. Make the payment for your application fee either online by using your credit/debit card, UPI or any other mode of payment that may be available. Save and print to your personal confirmation page.
6. When and if needed, edit your application per the UGC instructions specifications in the application correction window. You can find the downloadable and edited application form for your records in the tab.
1. Those who have appeared for Class XII or is going for exams can be eligible for CUET. "There is no age limit however, it is more for the practice rather than the number of attempts allowance."
2. The CUET is open to students of any background, e.g., Science, Commerce, Arts, etc., as the stream does not function as a limiting factor in meeting the qualification criteria.
3. Besides the Indian nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs as well as foreign nationals who can appear for CUET in order to get the admittance in Central Universities of India.
4. Class 12th minimum cut off for CUET has no bindings. Students awaiting class 12th board results or those who have passed such exams are availed of the CUET.
5. Besides, the number of universities or courses, a candidate can be applying is limitless through CUET exam Notably, each CUET score is valid for the all-India mains.
6. Candidates will have to get above any of the other eligibility criteria set by the University, under the subject combinations where they look forward to getting admission taking duly the CUET exam.
1. The CUET official website has the registration link which will usually be activated by the end of January 2024. Once you go there you click on the registration/application link. Sign up and provide the personal details recommended.
2. Select your centers for examination and those subjects/course of your choice. Thoroughly complete the online application form, filling out all compulsory appendixes.
3. attach the scanned copies of the mentioned certificates such as photo, signature and class 10 marksheet as specified.
4. Online applications have made the application process easier, as you can pay the application fee either by using credit/debit card, net banking or UPI. For General category the examination fee is Rs. 750.
5. Kindly fill in the application form for CUET and see that it is submitted on time. Please, don't forget to save your downloading confirmation page as well as your fee payment receipt for any further reference.
6. Ensure you have filled in all the details needed in the CUET application very carefully. Correct, if necessary, on any error made by March 2024 (last week).
7. Applicants can download their admit card from April 1,2024 onwards. Appear for Computer Based Test on CUET examination date and center as per allotted in respective center.
