National level entrance examination that is conducted for the purpose of admissions to post graduate courses in medical fields for institutes of National Importance located in India. It is organized by All India Institute of Medical Science New Delhi and other INIs for the admission to their MD/MS, DM (6 years), MCh (6 years) and MDS courses. These three exams tested are the INI-CET July session, the INI-CET January session, and the INI-SS July session. The INI CET exam is Computer Based Test & There is one paper of 300 marks consisting of two hundred multiple choice questions from the subjects of anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, etc.
INI CET 2024 is going to be conducted for admission in January and July sessions and the result will be announced in the last week of May 2024 for July session examination and in the last week of November 2024 for January session. It is crucial to meet several requirements of INI CET for admission to the MD/MS courses with an MBBS degree, MDS with BDS, and DM/MCh super-specialty courses with an MD/MS in the relevant specialty. The exam includes one paper, which contains a total of two hundred multiple choice questions concerning general ability, abstract thinking, and specific knowledge within the field of study. The exam is conducted in CBT mode at various centres in India and tests the knowledge of candidates on various subjects. The selection in INI CET is based on the candidate’s ranks.
