Adesh University is a University located at Bathinda, Punjab, India established in the year 2006. It was established in the year 2012 and soon has carved out niche for it self as one of the most sought after universities in North India. It is affiliated to UGC and has been accredited as an ‘A’ Grade University by NAAC. According to NIRF ranking 2023, Adesh University has been placed on the rank 65 of total universities in India. 1. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks for all categories and 45% for SC/ST candidates. 

2. As far as eligibility criteria of the entrance examination is concerned, this will depend on the particular university or course in question, such as the NEET examination for Medical, CLAT examination for Law.

3. The minimum age is usually 17 years, but there are programs that are above this age or programs with no upper age limit. 

4. The applicant must meet specific program-specific requirements such as subjects learned, the previous qualification, experience.

5. Satisfy domicile standards to qualify for any state quota places where necessary. Some of the preferences for particular categories based on the government rules.

6. Reserved for candidates with a valid score subject to compliance with other requirements at the time of counseling and admission. Also need to submit other documents such as migration, gap certificates.

Key sectors with regards to placements encompass IT, software development, analytics, consulting etc., head recruiters being TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture and Wipro; the maximum Package offered was 22lakh/- PA by TCS while the median salary falls between 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annum.
