AISECT University Hazaribagh is a private university situated in Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand state in India. It was established in the year 2016 is affiliated to the University Grants Commission of India and All India Council for Technical Education of India. The university has been accredited ‘B+’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.62 on the scale of 4. NIRF India Rankings 2023 have placed AISECT University Hazaribagh at Sr. No. 96 among all universities in India.
The university provides undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses in engineering, management sciences, natural sciences, social sciences, law, agriculture, designing and a lot more. Some of the major courses include B-schools, BTech, MTech, MBA, BBA, BCA, BA, BSc, BCom and integrated programs. In general, semester examinations are held during November-December and April-May of each year. Starting from April the admission process is initiated. Students have to write national or state level entrance tests like JEE Mains, GATE, CLAT and so on depending on the courses.
AISECT University Hazaribagh has been providing good opportunities for the graduates. Companies that frequently recruit candidates include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant and Accenture among others. The maximum salary offered on campus has been 16 LPA but the average salary package during campus placement goes up to 4 LPA. The placement cell ensures that its percentage record is around 80% across the branches and some of the course like Computer Science Engineering and Electronics & Communications have above 90% placement percentage.

AISECT University Placements 2024
AISECT University Hazaribagh has fair and reasonable placements as more than half of the students get placed every year. Some of the leading employers are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and Accenture. The maximum salary offered was INR 18 LPA by TCS and the median average salary was between INR 4-5 LPA. In the campus placements, 70 companies come to the college for recruitment and they mostly belong to the IT and Analytics sectors, banking and manufacturing, and education sector. The placement cell also imparts training in aptitude, technical and soft skills as and when recruitment is in progress.
