Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU) is a self-financed University located in Pune of Maharashtra state of India. It was established in 2015, accredited by the University Grants Commission of India and recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education. The university has been accredited the NAAC ‘Grade A’ for the academic excellence of the institution. In the NIRF rankings that were announced recently, ADYPU is ranked within the top 100 universities in India for the year 2023.
The university has various programmes in its portfolio across faculties at the bachelors, masters and doctoral levels. Some of the prominent offerings at ADYPU are engineering, business management, hospitality, design, liberal arts, pharmacy and healthcare studies. More than 80% of Placement eligible students in ADYPU got placed in the year 2021-22 placement session and the highest salary package offered was more than Rs. 42 Lakhs per annum. The remunerations offered were fairly standard those at most institutions; the average salary package offered to students across most programs was between Rs. 6 to 8 lakhs per annum. The academic curriculum of ADYPU is based on the industry requirement and it also has a strong focus on skills that are required to meet all the demands of the industry.

Ajeenkya DY Patil University does well in providing the students’ opportunity to get into industries and organizations of their choice through an efficient placement cell. Some of the key employers that are active in this region are Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, and TCS among others. The maximum salary offered to the students for the placement drive of 2021 was Rs. 18, 000 per month by American Express and the average salary of the students was Rs 6000 per month. More than 90% of placed students were offered in different sectors such as IT, analytics, consulting, and Banking and Finance Services and Industries, manufacturing, healthcare and education sectors.
