The list of available undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses in the field of Medicine, Nursing, and other related health sciences offered by AIIMS Deoghar are MBBS, MD/MS, M.Ch, DM, B.Sc in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, Ophthalmology, ENT, Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology. The eligibility criteria may also differ according to the type of course – for instance, to get admitted to MBBS course, one needs to have passed 12th or equivalent examination with an aggregate of at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. They also need to be cleared in the NEET-UG exam. For MD/MS/MCh/DM, candidate must have MBBS/MS/MCh in concerned specialty from any recognized university/institute with minimum 55% of the total marks. Entrance exam is NEET-PG.
Some of the major courses which are taught in the university include MBBS, BSc Nursing, Paramedical programs such as BPT, BOTH, BSc MLT, DT, and OT. Exam periods are as follows – NEET-UG 2023 exam will be held on 7th May 2023, NEET-PG 2023 exam will be held on 5th March 2023. The application process generally starts three to four months before the intended exams. For admission to MBBS, BSc courses, candidate has to secure NEET-UG/12th marks percentage for which respective college takes the admission. Admission to postgraduate medical programs such as MD/MS is granted according to the rank secured in NEET-PG exam then the counseling session. Admission brochure is produced by NTA at least one year before the admission process is launched.
The AIIMS Deoghar offers admissions to MBBS, nursing and several other paramedical courses and it releases its admission notification every year. Candidates interested to join AIIMS Deoghar can either apply online or offline.
It is also important to note that the process of applying to AIIMS Deoghar is almost entirely online and quite user-friendly. Aspirants have to go to the official website of AIIMS DEOGHAR which is aiimsdeoghar.edu.in and click on the ‘Academics’ or ‘Admissions’ link. They have to choose the course of their preference, provide basic personal details, upload scanned copies of necessary documents, and pay the application fee to complete the form submission.

4. The B.Sc admission notice and the link to download the application form will be released
