AIIMS New Delhi is one of the premier medical institutions in the country with the facility to impart various medical programs across different specializations of MBBS, MD, MS, MCh, DM. The entrance requirements are as follows depending on the department and course of your choice. For MBBS, one has to pass class 12th with minimum marks of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology is required. They also need to distinguish the national level NEET UG examination. Different colleges have different eligibility criteria for MD/MS courses in various subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology etc candidates need an MBBS degree with minimum 55% marks and have to pass AIIMS PG exam. Likewise, for superspeciality courses such as MCH in CTVS, Neuro surgery ,Urology candidates require a post graduate medical qualification in the concerned specialty, and have to clear the AIIMS SS exam.
The broad programs and disciplines which are taught at AIIMS New Delhi are MBBS, MD, MS MDS, DM, MCh BSc nursing and paramedical science, and PhD in Medicine Surgery, Dentistry, Biotechnology and other sciences.

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has the test for admission into its MBBS program each year. This is when the admission process for the 2024-2025 academic session is expected to commence in early 2024.
The eligibility criteria as specified have indicated that the candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks in the subject of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. They must also satisfy age requirements of 17-25 years as of December 31,2024. The selection depends on the aggregate of marks in the AIIMS MBBS entrance examination conducted on a national level, which is an objective type test consisting of 200 questions from physics, chemistry, biology, and general awareness.
The next step involves administering an exhaustive interview and a medical test to candidates who passed the entrance exam. The ultimate call list is compiled after the student’s performance in the entrance test / interview, and choices filled in by the candidate. There are approximately 100-125 seats per batch, of which 15% are specifically for NRI candidates.
