Apeejay Stya University is a private university which is situated in Sohna, Gurgaon of the Haryana state of India. It was set up in the year 2010, which is affiliated to the University Grants commission (UGC) and accredited by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Apeejay Stya University has been recently accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) in 2022 and has been graded ‘A’. It has been placed in the 101-150 band in the NIRF India Rankings 2023 in the universities category.
Currently, the university provides undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level programs for its student body in the fields of Management, Engineering, Sciences, Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, Law, Design, Architecture and many others. Some of the most sought-after courses are in Business and Technology studies, summarized as BTech, MBA and BBA, BCA, BA, BCom, MA, MSc, B.Des and B.Arch. End semester examinations of current batches would be held in the November 2023 and May 2024. The admission schedule for 2024 batch will start from April 2023. The students, after clearing the GAT/SAT/MAT/CMAT, will have to undergo group discussion followed by personal interview to get admission in the courses they need.
Apeejay Stya University has a very functional placement cell that helps the students in the process of internships and placements with variety of companies. Some of the major companies that recruits a large number of candidates are Accenture, Deloitte, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, HDFC Bank, Tech Mahindra, Reliance Industries, ITC and many more. Computer science and IT branches are having the highest package for the eligible students and 90% of the students are placed in different organizations having average package of Rs. 5.5 lakhs per annum. The MBA and Commerce students have a high employability rate of 85% and the highest salary paid to its students in the 2022 placement season was INR 12 lakh per annum.

Apeejay Stya University has a very effective placement cell through which the students get job placements. Some of the well-known companies that frequently come to Apeejay for campus placements are Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro Technologies, Infosys, Dell International, Cognizant, etc. The maximum salary offered in 2021 was rupees eight lakh per annum and the median was rupees four lakh and fifty thousands only per annum. The overall percentage placement of eligibility of undergraduate students for the session 2021 was more than 80%.
