Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU) is a state university located at Patna capital city of Bihar state in India. AKU, set up in 2008, is governed by the UGC and has NAAC accreditation of grade ‘A’. As per the NIRF Rankings 2023, it has been ranked at the position of 101-150 within the universities in India.
AKU is a chartered university with a vision to be amongst the leading universities in the region offering undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate programs in fields such as engineering, basic sciences, computer application, business and management sciences, education, law and many others. Some of the most sought-after programs in AKU-ABS are B.Tech, MBA, MCA, B.ED, LL.B and many more. The university holds the semester exams in the months of November-December and May-June respectively each year. In terms of placements, the broad areas of engineering have been observed to have the highest placements in B.Tech CSE, ECE, Mechanical, and Civil engineering branches.
