Baddi University of Emerging Science and Technology also called BUEST is a private university situated in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. Since its inception in 2009, it has expanded to be one of the premier education institutions dedicated to skills and enterprise growth. The University Grants Commission has accredited BUEST, and it is also affiliated with the Government of Himachal Pradesh. At the moment, it has been accredited with a B++ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in the year 2022 to justify its focus on quality education. According to NIRF ranking 2023 for universities in India, BUEST has come up to 101-150.
BUEST provides ample academic programs in several fields including Engineering and Computer Applications, Business and Commerce, Basic Sciences, Humanities and much more. For the academic year of 2024 and 2025, the intake of students will be in early February of 2024. The entrance test will take place in the month of April and May. BUEST accepts the national level examination like JEE Main, CAT, MAT, etc and also the BUEST Entrance Test BUET. Application forms can be downloaded from the website of the university or one can apply through the online mode. The examination dates, admission announcement and selection process is made available for all the programs before the beginning of the admission session.
