Varanasi, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) provides various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various faculties such as arts, science, commerce, law, agriculture and many more. The eligibility criteria for the undergraduate courses of the students depend on the subjects they have taken in the 10+2 examinations and the minimum percentage which is between 45%-60% of the total marks. BHU considers some of the national level standardized tests which include JEE Main for admission into B.Tech, NEET UG for admission into MBBS/BDS, Common Law Admission test for LL.B, NPAT for B.Pharmacy. It provides under graduate degree programmes that include; BA Economics, BCom, BSC Computer Science, BDS/MBBS, BSc Ag, BA LLb among others. The eligibility criteria differs course wise–for BA/BSc (Gen), the candidate should have scored minimum 45% in 10+2, while for BTech , the candidate should have qualified JEE Main and should have secured at least 75% marks.
The admission section of the university has released the admission calendar for the 2024 academic year. The BHU MBA Admission application process will be starting from March 1st, 2023, through online mode on the website bhuonline.in. For securing admissions in a variety of UG/PG programs, students will have to write the BHU UET, PET, CRET tests in April/May 2023. When are they going to release the results? The results will be released in June 2023. The candidates will be able to submit additional documents and make payments to finalize their registration for the intake starting from July 2023. To help clear up the seats in various faculties, the university conducts multiple rounds of counselling. The process of admission to engineering colleges includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and admission confirmation.

1. Visit BHU’s official portal at www.bhu.ac.in and scroll down to the admission section.
2. Choose your preferred course of study, which in this case is the B.Sc, then proceed to sign up using your information.
3. Open the application form and fill it in with the details entered when you registered online. Please fill all field about personal data, education, and address/contact information completely and truthfully.
4. Scanned copies of necessary documents such as the photograph, signature, class 10 and 12 certificates & mark sheets, caste certificate (if any), etc. should be uploaded according to size standards.
5. You are required to make a preference of the course/subjects of your choice for the admission in BHU.
6. Online mode: The payment can be done online through the net banking/debit card/credit card etc.
7. Go through the application form for BHU and submit the form after reading it carefully. Suspend it for future use or download and save for the future.
