Bareilly International University (BIU), is a self-finance university situated in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India. Founded in 2016 and located in the heart of Accra – the glorious capital of the Republic of Ghana, BIU has blossomed into an internationally recognized university offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degree programs in diverse fields.
Hence, approvals and recognitions by regulating institutions such as UGC, AICTE & BCI have been accorded to BIU. It was accredited by NAAC with B++ grade, which provided evidence on the fact that the college was geared towards providing quality education. BIU is also involved in NIRF 2023 ranking exercise under different domains such as; University, Pharmacy and Architecture domains.
The university provides different course in faculties of Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture and Management, Commerce, Arts, Law, Agriculture, Library Science and Education. University end semester examinations occur in December and May each year for all faculties and programs. BIU has also come up with the CAPE exam, which is a common assessment, meant for final year students. Admission for the year 2024 will commence in or after March depending on the National/State level examination such as JEE Main, CLAT, CAT, etc., and other University Entrance Exam. Bareilly International University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Bachelor of Arts (BA) - Candidate must have completed 12th or equivalent from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD category). No age limit.
2. BSc – The candidate must have cleared 12th standard or equivalent examination in Science stream from any recognized board with minimum 50% marks for the general category students and 45% marks for students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories. No age limit.
3. Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) – The candidate must have completed 12th or equivalent from a recognized board with marks more than 50% for general category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD. No upper age limit.
4. Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) – Any stream 10+2 pass in any graduate with 50 % marks for general candidates and 45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates. No upper age bar. Math/Computer Science in 12th preferred with Math 11 as acceptable backup.
5. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Passed 12th or equivalent from any stream with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for UR/OBC/NRI/Foreign Nationals and 45% marks in aggregate for SC/ST/OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates. No age restriction.
6. Minimum 50% aggregate marks in the relevant subject area for Master of Arts (MA), Graduate degree with 45% marks for reserved categories. No age bar.
7. Master of Science (MSc) - The candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in the concerned science subject with not less than 50% marks for Open Category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PH etc. No upper age limit.

BIU has a very good record in terms of placement of its students in various reputed organizations and companies and more than 80% students got placed. This job sector has products and IT services as the key recruiting sectors with major companies being TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Cognizant hiring graduates. In the placement drive of 2021-22, the maximum salary package recorded was upto Rs. 32 lakh per annum grabbed by American Express and the average salary was upto Rs. 6.5 lakh per annum.
