BPS Women University of Sonepat, Haryana offers different faculties such as arts faculty, science faculty, commerce faculty, computer applications and education faculty providing various degrees like BA, BSc, BCom, MA, MSc, MCom, MBA, MCA and BEd. Some of the common eligibility tests that the candidates can sit for include the Haryana DET, CUET and BPSMV entrance exam. For BSc, the least passing marks required are 45% for PCM in 12th standard. BA accepts students who have completed their 12th standard in any stream while BCom accepts students who have completed commerce with 50% average marks for all the years of study. It is mandatory to have graduate degree with minimum 50% marks in the relevant discipline for postgraduate courses.
Some of the courses available for admission in sessions 2024 are BA English/ Hindi/ Economics/ History, BSc Maths/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology, BCom General/ Hons, BBA, BCA, MBA Marketing/HR/ Finance, MCA, MA English/ Hindi/ Economics/ History, MSc Botany/ Zoology/ Chemistry/ Physics/ Maths, MCom and BEd. While all UG/PG entrance exams will take place in the months of May and July 2023 the CUET is in the months of April and May 2023. Students can join the UG programme in March-June 2023 on the university portal or NTA website for CUET. This is the month when admission confirmation for UG/PG merit lists happens and is in August 2023. BEd correspondingly, requires an additional teaching exam. So in sum, the admission formalities gets done latest before session starts by September 2023.
The steps in the admission procedures in Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya Sonepat include online and off line registration. Applicants can either apply online through the university website www.bpswomenuniversity.ac.in or can buy the prospectus and fill the application form, available in the university offices. For online application the registration fee is Rs 550 while for sending the application through post or by hand the fee is Rs 600.

- General procedure for providing B.Tech admissions involves counseling where students are placed according to their performance in exams such as JEE Mains. The university has various B.Tech courses including Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering etc.

- Age of the candidates should not be more than 25 years For admission to the First Year of the 4-Year B.Tech. programme, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with pass in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects.
- For the general category candidates, the minimum marks required to be possessed are 60 % in the 10+2 examination. For SC/ST candidates it is 55% marks of the total marks in the qualifying examination or it is equivalent.
- The University offers admission to various courses through state-level counselling based on the rank acquired in the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) merit list.
- 85% of the total seats are allotted to the students through All India JEE Main Merit list and remaining 15% seats are admitted through Haryana State level counseling on the basis of merit in 10+2 examination.
- The diploma holders in respective branches can also lateral entry in second year of the B tech program through the Haryana State counseling.
