Birla Global University is a university which was established in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It was established in the year 2009.It is accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and recognized by Government of Odisha. It came out ‘A’ graded accredited from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). According to the NIRF rankings 2023 which have recently been declared, BGU has been placed in the NIRF band 101-150 among all universities in India.
The university also provides several graduate, postgraduate and PhD courses in management, commerce, science, engineering, law & humanities. BBA, BBALLB, B.COM, BA, BCA, B.Tech, MBA, M.Tech and integrated law programmes like BBA LLB and B.COM LLB are some of the courses offered in the BGU. Basic steps involved are online registration or offline registration, written test namely Birla Global University Admission Test (BGUAT) or any other national level examination for valid score. They are required to write the personal interview rounds and the group discussion for the candidate to be finalized.

Birla Global University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Possessing or have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate.
2. Passing the prescribed standard entrance examination such as JEE Main, GAT-B and so on depending on the program of the student’s choice.
3. Comply with specific program requirements set for disciplines like Design, Law, Architecture.
4. According to the rules and regulation of the university, the international students require passing English proficiency tests such as IELTS, TOEFL.
5. Obtained the minimum cut off marks and ranking in entrance exams that would give the admission.
6. Complied with all the other requirements as required by the University in terms of documents to produce, manner of application, fees among other aspects.
Birla Global University Placements 2024
Birla Global University on average has 90% ofplacement every year and the students have been placed in various sectors. Top employers in the country are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture and other employers. The maximum CTC offered last year was Rs. 25 lakhs per annum from Microsoft. The salary scale differs and most employees receive a median package of Rs 5-7 lakhs per annum. Major industries that students get hired by include information technology, manufacturing, banking, financial services and insurance, retail and consulting. More than 140 national and multinational companies come to the campus for conducting placements.
