Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Hyderabad or BITs, Hyderabad is an individual institute established in the year 2008. It is operating under the BITS Pilani University and received the status of the Institute of Eminence by the Indian Government. The institute has secured Grade ‘A’ under NAAC and has achieved cumulative grade point average of 3.71 on four point scale. According to NIRF Rankings 2023, it has been ranked 20th position amongst the engineering colleges in India.

BITS Hyderabad has recorded a brilliant placement drive for its 2023 passing out batch. There are more than 130 companies that participated in placements and more than 480 offer were made by these companies. Some of the leading recruiters in the placements were- Microsoft, Amazon, JP Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Cisco etc. The maximum wage that was paid was 43.6 lakhs INR per annum which was offered by Microsoft. The median salary offered to the batch with respect to the campus placements was INR 14.63 lakhs per annum. A total 93.5% of the students who attended placement emerged successes with majority being offered jobs in IT, Analytics/Consulting and core Engineering & IT sectors.
