Birsa Munda Tribal University is a state university which is situated in Rajpipala, Manki in Jharkhand, India. It was established in the year 2017 it is accredited from University Grants Commission of India and recognized from Government of Jharkhand. The university has not yet been graded but is currently undergoing the process for NAAC accreditation. It is a new generation university, and thus the 2023 NIRF ranking for the university has not been released.
The university has many programs in various disciplines of study, including science, arts, commerce, law, education, and vocational. Some of the main courses include Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Bachelor of Education (BEd), Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Diploma courses, and others.
The university has placement and training cell that organizes recruitment stations on the campus. The software companies that have visited the campus for recruitment are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Tech machindra and IBM. The maximum package that has been offered until now is 5 LPA whereas, the minimum average package that has been offered ranges between 2.5-3 LPA. The major fields which recruit students are IT, banking financial service, education, manufacturing telecom, retail etc.

Birsa Munda Tribal University Rajpipala has moderate to good placement records for the students in their respective campuses. Some of the major IT vendors like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and cognizant recruits students from campus placement. Academic Year 2022-23 for the placement of the eligible student has been recorded about 65% of the student got placed and the highest salary package of 6.5 LPA was offered by TCS. The compensation that comes in terms of the average offered salary is 3-4 LPA.
