Pilani campus is the largest and the main campus of BITS, which is situated in Pilani, Rajasthan and was set up in 1964. In NIRF Rankings 2023, BITS Pilani has been ranked 28th among all the institutes in the country. Placements in the B.tech course in BITS Pilani Pilani campus are more than 1100 companies which are related to IT, consulting, core sectors, finance, analytics, and pharma. 2022 saw the participation of direct placement recruitment companies such as Microsoft offering as many as nearly 24 LPA while the highest pay scale offering crossed INR 65 LPA. Also, the highest package provided by Goldman Sachs was about INR 24 LPA while the average package that was paid to its students was INR 22 LPA. Some other companies which were also a part of the top companies list were Arcesium, EXL, Cognizant, Codenation, Samsung R&D with average of offer hovering between 18-22 LPA. The highest out package for the batch of 2022 was INR 76.85 LPA and the median salary for the batch was INR 18.25 LPA.
