Bundelkhand University is a state university which was located in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established in the year 1975 and is now affiliated under UGC and has got B grade in NAAC. In the NIRF rankings of the year 2023, Bundelkhand University was placed in the range of 151 to 200 in the NIRF ranking of the universities of India.
We deliver on our mandate by providing education for a diverse range of levels including undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels in fields including arts, commerce, science, engineering, education, and law. The programmes offered include BA, Bcom, B.Sc, B.Tech, B. Ed., LLB, MA, M.Sc, M.Com, M.Tech, M.Ed, etc. The admission process is normally initiated in May each year while the examinations are in March/April and in November/December. The application for the 2024 batch is anticipated to commence in mid-May in the year 2023.
The Bundelkhand University Jaipur has a very functional placement cell which helps the companies in the selection of the students. Largest employers involve Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, IT firms and others. IT companies are the primary employers of Bundelkhand University graduates but the public and private sector banks also hire graduates from the university. The pay structure for the graduates is relatively low with an average salary package ranging between Rupees three to four lakhs per annum while the postgraduates can secure a package of Rupees four to seven lakhs per annum. The first one is concerned with placement and the average placement ratios are more than 80% for computer science and IT branches and 60-75% on average for the other branches.

Bundelkhand University provided excellent placements for the outgoing batch in 2022. More than 75% of the eligible students were successfully placed in multi-national companies in different sectors and the highest salary package of INR 18 lakhs per annum for a reputed IT consultancy firm. The university has a placement cell that was operational to arrange campus recruitment by some of the leading companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant etc. According to the latest placement records, the median salary package that offered to the students was INR 4.2 lakhs per annum. Most of the placements were reported by many streams such as engineering, computer application, and management.
