Shah University Wadhwan has different disciplines producing Management, Computer Applications, Commerce, Science, Pharmacy, Engineering and many other undergraduate and postgraduate courses and minimum criteria for admissions are that candidate must pass 12th standard examinations with minimum 45% marks from any recognized board of education. The eligibility for the UG Programs is also different for each department some of the conditions are, for BSc programs like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, a candidate should have passed 12th Standard with minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB/PCM/PCMB from CBSE/State Board. It accepts GUJCET, JEE Mains and other entrance exam scores for admission. For BCom and BBA, a candidate must have passed 12th grade and have secured at least 45% in any stream. For the BCA program, the pass is mandatory for Science/Commerce stream at the 12th level of education, and the candidate must secure 45% of the total marks. BA program does not have any cut off or entrance examination to take a student, the minimum requirement is that the student should have passed 12th standard with a least average of 45% in the four best subjects.

The Wadhwan based C. U. Shah University offers Doctor of Philosophy – PhD programmes across various departments such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, Computer Applications, Commerce and Accountancy etc. The minimum requirement to apply for any of these PhD programs is 55% marks or its equivalent in the concerned discipine Master’s Degree. Certain departments also have mandatory requirements of passing an entrance examination such as GATE/NET or SET.
