Career Point University (CPU) is a self-financed private university located in Kota city of Rajasthan state of India. It was founded in the year 2012 and is approved by the university grants commission UGC and the all India council for technical education AICTE. CPU was recently graded by NAAC in the year 2019 where it earned a B++ accreditation. In the NIRF 2023 ranking, CPU was categorized among the 81 universities across the country.
The university has a number of courses in its portfolio including engineering, management, commerce, arts, and science streams among many others. Some of the well recognized ones include; B. Tech, M. Tech, B. Business Administration, M. Business Administration, B. Commerce, M. Commerce among others. Overall semester tests are normally held in December and May each year. For the admission of the undergraduate courses, the University takes the score of the national level entrance tests such as JEE Main, CLAT, etc. For the admission in the postgraduate courses, the university conducts a separate test called CPU Entrance Examination. The admission process often starts in the beginning of the year in January, while the classes start at the end of July/early August.
Some of the achievements include having affiliations with various reputable organizations that provide sound industry academia relationship and internship opportunities for the students. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini etc were the top recruiters for placements Some of the prominent recruiters of the campus are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini etc. The batch of students who appeared for the 2022 final placements has got more than 500 offers with the highest salary package reaching up to 16 The average placement salary amongst the_batch is 4.2 LPA.
